Who Represents Me?

Each of us in North Carolina has representation in Congress by two U.S. Senators and one Representative in the U.S. House of Representatives. Senators Richard Burr and Thom Tillis represent all of North Carolina in the U.S. Senate. Who represents you in the U.S. House of Representatives is determined by your address as the state is divided into 13 districts for this representation. For Wayne County, that person is David Rouzer (district 7).

For representation in the North Carolina General Assembly, there are even smaller districts. Wayne County is divided into 2 districts for the NCGA (2019.) Your address determines who your local representatives are in the NC Senate and NC House; We each have one representative from each branch of the NCGA.
